Quotes – 7 Days in a Nutshell – # 4

It’s that time again…..a week of my life through the medium of quotes….

It has been one of those weeks….all good intentions but life just got in the way! I do find it very frustrating when you have a list to do of A, B, C & D…….& what gets done? E & a few things that don’t even qualify as letters!

Still, there is no point in complaining! You just have to deal with that, pick yourself up & start again…..

Here are my quotes of the week

“Life is what happens to you whilst you’re busy making other plans..”

– John Lennon (Musician)

“Hold fast to time! Use it! Be conscious of each day, each hour! They slip away unnoticed all too easily & swiftly”

– Thomas Mann (Writer)

“No endeavor that is worthwhile is simple in prospect; if it is right, it will be simple in retrospect”

– Edward Teller (Physicist)

“There are two things to aim at in life: first, to get what you want and, after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieve the second”

– Logan Pearsall Smith (Writer)

So what do you think? Any hit home?
